This Estate tea comes from the Dimbula district in the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. The leaf is pine needle shaped with a silver tip. The tea has an aromatic malty spicy taste not unlike the milder Assam teas. Ratnapura makes an interesting breakfast tea or is very popular as an afternoon tea.
Brew for 3 minutes.
Water temperature: 100 degrees C.
Use 4-5 teaspoons per litre of water.
