An organically grown green Sencha tea from China. To create Sencha tea the leaves are folded lengthwise while drying on warm trays, then heated in wood-fuelled pans in order to stop the fermentation resulting in distinctive grass green leaves in the finished tea and a fresh, sweet flavour.
Brew for 1-3 minutes.
Water temperature: 75-80 degrees C.
Use 4-5 heaped teaspoons per litre of water.
