Pu-Erh or Pu-er teas are called post-fermented teas, their leaves having been re-hydrated after their first fermentation to allow another fermentation. Through the production and storage of the tea it develops a strong, spicy and earthy taste and a dark red coloured tea once infused. Pu-erh has been associated with many health benefits for the tea drinker.
