This is a classic Chai from India. It has a pleasant strong flavour The intense taste is from the carefully selected spices, aniseed, cinnamon and ginger together with black tea leaves, cloves and chicory root which are blended in the traditional way. There are many different Chai blends but we feel that this is a good introduction.
To enjoy Chai at its best it is made with hot milk and sugar
Brew for 3-5 minutes.
Water temperature: 100 degrees C.
Use 4-5 heaped teaspoons of tea per litre of water.
